Silk Scarves & Irish Linen Wall Hangings

Experience the beauty of the sea with my Cyanotype Silk and Cotton Scarves, where the timeless beauty of the sea is captured in every fold. Each scarf is a unique piece, crafted with meticulous care and inspired by the natural wonders of the sea. By using seaweed, pebbles and sand from the beach, to bring the essence of the seaside directly onto luxurious 100% silk, cotton and linen fabrics.

The process begins with hand-painting the silk and cotton with cyanotype chemicals, followed by a delicate arrangement of seaside treasures on the fabric. Exposed to the sun's gentle rays, the scarf transforms into a stunning blue canvas, revealing intricate patterns shaped by nature itself. The print is then developed in seawater, imbuing the fabric with the spirit of the sea, before being rinsed in fresh water and dried in the wind.

This harmonious blend of sun, water, and wind creates a wearable piece of art that not only celebrates the beauty of the sea but also carries its essence with you.

KIND WORDS FROM HAPPY CUSTOMERS

“I would like to thank you again for the beautiful scarf you did and for the care put in the shipping. The card is also very delicate, thanks also for that gift, we are already thinking to frame it. The package arrived Thursday. My little daughter and I wrote some words in the card and we gave it yesterday to my wife. She really loved it as much as I do. The color, the composition, the movement! It really captures the essence of the sea. ”
