Beyond the Garden Gates, inspired by the walled garden at Powerscourt Gardens. Printed on Silk this cyanotype features an image of the gates to the garden and a rich variety of shapes and textures formed by the flowers and foliage that grow within the garden.

Overlapping botanical impressions create layers of detail and depth, suggesting a living tapestry of growth. Plant forms include ferns, honesty, lavender, grasses, buttercups, hydrangea, and others. Each piece is one of a kind.

Sun-printed on a medium-weight habatoi silk weave.

Each scarf comes beautifully packed in a black recycled gift box, accompanied by a care card that explains the cyanotype printing process and provides care instructions.

My sun-printed scarves are inspired by the elements of nature. These 100% Silk Scarfs are unique pieces of wearable art. Each hand painted in a light sensitive cyanotype solution and exposed to sunlight using seaweed, pebbles and beach treasures. Developed using a mix of fresh water & seawater imbuing the spirit of the sea, a stunning blue image emerges shaped by nature.

Each one is individual. The pattern and the colour blue will vary as each scarf is unique and may differ than the colour on screen.
