The Process

The process begins with hand-painting the silk with cyanotype chemicals, followed by a delicate arrangement of seaside treasures on the fabric. Exposed to the sun's gentle rays, the scarf transforms into a stunning blue canvas, revealing intricate patterns shaped by nature itself. The print is then developed in seawater, imbuing the fabric with the spirit of the sea, before being rinsed in fresh water and dried in the wind. This harmonious blend of sun, water, and wind creates a wearable piece of art that not only celebrates the beauty of the ocean but also carries its essence with you.

Material: 100% Silk, hand rolled stitched seams.

Care Instructions: Hand wash in warm water. Do not use detergents as this may cause the colour to change as it remains PH sensitive.
